Products
A marriage settlement is an officially registered agreement between spouses. It can set out, among other things, arrangements for separate property and gifts.
Where can I find it?
A confirmation of whether a person has a registered marriage settlement is available under Information about a person. Information about your own registered marriage settlement is also available on My Page.
If you need a copy of the marriage settlement itself, you must order it by phone on +47 75 00 75 00. The fee is NOK 181.
If you have a marriage settlement yourself that was registered after 12 November 2025, you can find it on My Page.
Marriage settlements registered before 1981
Marriage settlements registered before 1981 are not available through our digital services. If you need information about such marriage settlements, you must contact us by phone on +47 75 00 75 00.
Certificates of registration from the Register of Business Enterprises and Register transcripts from the Central Coordinating Register for Legal Entities show that an organisation is registered and who is responsible for it. Organisations registered in the Register of Business Enterprises can obtain a certificate of registration. Other organisations must use the register transcript.

A certificate of registration that meets the minimum legal requirements is available under Information on organisations. You can also download the information shown in the service as a digitally signed PDF.
The same product with some additional information can be ordered free of charge from the webshop. You can also order an English version there and it may be notarised for NOK 424.
The objective as laid down in the articles of association in English products
Certificates of registration and register transcripts in English do not normally include information about the objective as laid down in the articles of association. If you need it to be translated, you must order the products by phone on +47 75 00 75 00. The translation is included in the price of NOK 424, but you should expect a slightly longer delivery time.
How are the documents delivered?
Notarised certificates of registration are sent by post, usually within one working day. Other certificates can be downloaded digitally or sent by e-mail shortly.
The bankruptcy information shows the status of any bankruptcy and disqualifications. The insurance confirmation also includes the status of reconstruction proceedings, debt settlement proceedings and debt negotiations.
Where can I find them?
You can order a confirmation showing that a business is not bankrupt from the webshop. You can find bankruptcy information and insurance certificates for an individual under Information about a person. You can also check your own status on My Page.
Transcript from the Register Bankruptcies
A transcript from the Register Bankruptcies is available for a limited period after the bankruptcy proceedings have been opened. You must order the transcript by phone. The product does not contain any information beyond what is available in other digitally accessible products.
The Group structure and the Affiliations provide information about the relationship between the different organisations within a corporate group, or voluntary organisations that have registered affiliations.
Where can I find them?
The group structure is available from the webshop. The affiliations are available under Information on organisations, in the section Information from the Register of Non-Profit Organisations.
Copies of case documents are documents that have been submitted to us in connection with registrations and registrations of legal rights at the Brønnøysund Register Centre.
Where can I find them?
The documents from the Central Coordinating Register for Legal Entities and the Register of Business Enterprises relating to private limited companies and public limited companies can be ordered from the webshop. The webshop also includes annual accounts from the past 14 years.
The articles of association registered in the Register of Non‑Profit Organisations are, in some cases, available under Information on organisations.
A marriage settlement registered in your name after 12 November 2025 is available on My Page.
All other documents must be ordered by phone. Prices are listed under If you cannot use digital services.
How are the documents delivered?
The copies of the documents are normally sent by e-mail within 3 to 5 working days.

This product shows which religious and faith communities reported you as a member as of 1 January. The product is only available to the individual concerned. Parents or legal guardians can also order the product for their children under 15 years of age.

Information about your own memberships of religious and faith communities is available on My Page.
Information about a child’s membership must be ordered by phone on +47 75 00 75 00. We will send it free of charge to the child’s registered address in the National Population Register.
A transcript from the Register of Mortgaged Moveable Property shows mortgages and other registered legal rights relating to assets other than real property, distraint deductions and no basis for distraint.
A mortgage certificate from the Aquaculture Register shows mortgages and other registered legal rights linked to aquaculture licences.
Where can I find it?

Mortgages relating to an organisation are also available under Information on organisations.
Mortgages relating to an individual are also available under Information about a person.
Information about mortgages relating to yourself is available on My Page. There you will also find information about distraint deductions and no basis for distraint.
A mortgage certificate from the Aquaculture Register must be ordered by phone on +47 75 00 75 00. It is available for national identity numbers, organisation numbers or licence numbers. The fee is NOK 150, and the certificate is sent by post.
The role overview in businesses shows which roles are registered for an individual or an organisation.
A client overview is a list of the organisations that have reported a specific auditor or accountant.

An overview of an individual’s roles in businesses is available under Information about a person.
An overview of your own roles is available on My Page. There you will also find roles you hold outside the business sector.
We regularly produce a set of standard statistics. We also provide customised statistics on request.
Where can I find them?
Our standard statistics are available under Statistics. Statistics on companies, enterprises and bankruptcies are provided as .xls files, which are updated at the beginning of each month.

A distraint deduction means that a person has an outstanding monetary claim, and that a specified amount is therefore deducted from the person’s salary or benefits. No basis for distraint means that a person or an organisation has no assets against which security can be taken, and no income from which deductions can be made.

Information about distraint deduction and no basis for distraint relating to others must be ordered by phone on +47 75 00 75 00. Only parties with special authorisation may order this information.
Who can order the confirmation?
- an individual may order confirmation for their own national identity number
- the general manager or the chair of the board may order a confirmation for their own organisation
- lawyers
- financial institutions
- debt collection agencies
- credit information agencies
- public authorities, to their own clients
Credit information agencies may disclose the information to their clients.
What does it cost?
The individual concerned may order the product free of charge. For others, the fee is NOK 181.
Organisations that are required to keep accounts must submit their annual accounts to the Register of Company Accounts.

The annual accounts from the past 14 years are available from the webshop.
A PDF version is also available under Information on organisations. This version is easier to access, but all text has been converted to graphics.
Annual accounts older than 14 years must be ordered by phone on +47 75 00 75 00. The fee is NOK 241.

Legalisation or apostille
If the product is to be used abroad, you may need additional certification in the form of an apostille or legalisation. You can read more about apostille stamps for documents on statsforvalteren.no, and about legalisation on regjeringen.no.
We can provide historical transcripts or confirmations of specific events relating to organisations.

Documents from the Central Coordinating Register for Legal Entities and the Register of Business Enterprises relating to private limited companies and public limited companies can be ordered from the webshop.
Other confirmations must be ordered by phone on +47 75 00 75 00 and normally cost NOK 424. Specially customised or complex products may cost more.

Bulk orders of insurance confirmations
If you need insurance confirmations for more than 20 individuals, you can send us an encrypted Excel file containing the national identity numbers of the individuals concerned.
You will receive an Excel file showing an overview of the individuals and whether the required information is registered or not.
