Registration of decisions and implementations before the turn of the year

Make sure you estimate enough time to register merger, demerger, reduction of share capital and closing down a company in The Register of Business Enterprises before the turn of the year.
Merger, demerger, reduction of share capital and closing down a company must be reported in two steps; first a decision and secondly implementation.
Important dates in 2025
Digital notifications
- You must send notifications about decisions within 6 October.
- Notifications about implementation must be sent within 3 December
Notifications which must be sent by post
- Notifications about decisions must be received by us within 1 October
- Notifications about implementation must be received by us within 1 December
The dates will be updated every autumn.
Some notifications are processed fully electronically
- Implementation of merger between parent/subsidiary company
- Implementation of merger between companies with the same owner
If you send more than one notification about implementation of merger on the same day, only the first one will be processed fully electronically.
