Right and/or obligation to register in the Register of Business Enterprises

Associations involved in business activity, or with the object of doing business activity, must be registered in the Register of Business Enterprises.

If the association is not obliged to register in the Register of Business Enterprises, it does not have the right to register there.

When does the duty occur?

The business activity has to extend over a certain period of time, and the turnover has to be of a certain size, before the association is required to register in the Register of Business Enterprises.

The obligation to register for associations without the object of doing business activity, binary trader, takes place when the association has a turnover of more than NOK 140.000.

Upon registration in the Register of Business Enterprises, the unit will receive a certificate of registration. There is a fee for the registration in the Register of Business Enterprises.
