Make changes to your club or association

If you wish to change the information registered for your club or association, you can do this by submitting the form Registration in the Central Coordinating Register for Legal Entities and the Register of Business Enterprises in Altinn.
You register a new address by submitting the form Registration in the Central Coordinating Register for Legal Entities and the Register of Business Enterprises in Altinn.
New business address/visiting address
This is the street or visiting address of the association. Normally this is a street address or a place name in small town areas. If the association has its own premise/club house or gathering place, you normally use this address. In addition, you can register a postal address.
Remember that the statutes for association registered in the Register of Business Enterprises, must be changed if the association changes its business address to a new municipality.
New postal address
If you wish to have the mail sent to a different address, you can report this as the postal address. You can register a c/o address, if the association does not have its own postal box marked with the name of the association. This ensures that the mail will be sent to the correct receiver. In the example below, the letter for the association is sent to the postal address of the contact person.

When the association has elected a new board, this must be reported in the form Registration in the Central Coordinating Register for Legal Entities and the Register of Business Enterprises in Altinn.
Please remember to have the surname and national identity number of the board members and deputy board members available before you start.
Please note that you must fill in information about all board members and deputy board members in the form.
No attachments are required, but the election is confirmed by declaring in the form that:
- the board is lawfully elected by the annual meeting or another competent body
- minutes showing the election of the new board exists, and the information is in correspondence with what is reported in the form
The Brønnøysund Register Centre can do random checks and demand to have the minutes sent, either while you fill out the form or at a later point in time.
Newly elected board members and deputy board members must confirm taking on the assignment by signing the form.
You change signature rights by submitting the form Registration in the Central Coordinating Register for Legal Entities and the Register of Business Enterprises in Altinn.
The documentation must clearly state that a signature right has been assigned, and whether it is assigned “jointly” or “separately”.
No attachments are required. The signature right is documented by declaring in the form that:
- the signature rights has been lawfully approved by the association’s annual general meeting or another competent body
- minutes showing the most recently approved signature rights exists and the information is in correspondence with what is reported in the form
The Brønnøysund Register Centre can do random checks and demand to have the minutes sent at a later point in time.
Power of procuration can be registered only for associations registered in the Register of Business Enterprises.
You change power of procuration by submitting the form Registration in the Central Coordinating Register for Legal Entities and the Register of Business Enterprises in Altinn.
It must be stated clearly in the documentation that the power of procuration has been assigned, and whether it has been assigned jointly or separately.
No attachments are required. The power of procuration is documented by declaring in the form that:
- minutes showing the most recently approved power of procuration exists and the information is in correspondence with what is reported in the form
The Brønnøysund Register Centre can do random checks and demand to have the minutes sent at a later point in time.
All role holders can resign from their own role. When you resign, you waive all rights and obligations linked to that role. You can do this in the form Registration in the Central Coordinating Register for Legal Entities and the Register of Business Enterprises in Altinn. Once we have registered the resignation, your role will be marked as inactive. Both you and the association will be notified.
If a change requires minutes or other documents, upload them as attachments to the form.
If you cannot use a digital form
You can download the form, only in Norwegian (PDF), complete it and send it by post. Applications sent by post may take significantly longer to process.
