Make changes to your joint ownership according to the law of property

If you want to make changes to the information registered on a joint ownership, you must submit the form Registration in the Central Coordinating Register for Legal Entities and the Register of Business Enterprises in Altinn.
You register a new address by submitting the form Registration in the Central Coordinating Register for Legal Entities and the Register of Business Enterprises in Altinn. You can choose whether to change the business address or the postal address.
If you want the joint ownership to only be registered with a postal address with us, please remember to remove the old business address in the form.
If you want to use the address of one of the co-owners as the address of the joint ownership, you must use a c/o address. See the example below:

When the joint ownership has got a new general manager, contact person or business manager, you must submit the new information in the form Registration in the Central Coordinating Register for Legal Entities and the Register of Business Enterprises in Altinn. A contact person can only be registered if there are no other physical roles registered.
For general managers in particular:
The general manager must confirm that they accept the role by signing the form. No attachments are required. The election or appointment is documented by confirming in the form that:
- the general manager has been validly elected or appointed by the co-owners’ meeting
- there is a set of minutes that shows the election or appointment of the general manager
The Brønnøysund Register Centre can do random checks and demand to have the minutes sent, either while you fill out the form or at a later point in time.
When the joint ownership has elected a new board, you must submit the form Registration in the Central Coordinating Register for Legal Entities and the Register of Business Enterprises in Altinn.
Make sure you have the surnames and the national identity numbers of the board members and the deputy board members available before you start.
Please remember to include all board members and deputy board members in the form.
No attachments are required, but the election is confirmed by declaring in the form that:
- the board is lawfully elected by the meeting of joint owners or the annual meeting
- minutes showing the most recently elected board exist, and the information is in correspondence with what is reported in the form

Newly elected board members and deputy board members must confirm taking on the assignment by signing the form Registration in the Central Coordinating Register for Legal Entities and the Register of Business Enterprises in Altinn.
You submit the form Registration in the Central Coordinating Register for Legal Entities and the Register of Business Enterprises in Altinn in order to change who has signature rights in the joint ownership.
Signature rights is given by
- unanimous agreement between the co-owners
or - articles of association that has been unanimously adopted
It must be clear from the documentation that the signature has been assigned and whether it is given jointly or separately.
No attachments are required. The signature right is documented by declaring in the form that:
- the signature rights has been lawfully approved by the joint ownership’s annual general meeting or a co-owners meeting
- minutes showing the most recently approved signature rights exists and the information is in correspondence with what is reported in the form
The Brønnøysund Register Centre can do random checks and demand to have the minutes sent at a later point in time.
All role holders can report that they have resigned from their positions. When you resign, you waive all rights and obligations belonging to your role. You have to notify us about your resignation through the form Registration in the Central Coordinating Register for Legal Entities and the Register of Business Enterprises in Altinn. Once the resignation has been registered, both the joint ownership and the person resigning you will be notified about this.

You can download the form, only in Norwegian (PDF), complete it and send it by post. Applications sent by post may take significantly longer to process.
