Make changes to your co-operative

If you want to make changes to the information registered about the co-operative, you must submit the form Coordinated register notification.
You register a new address by submitting the form Coordinated register notification in Altinn.
New business address
The business address of a co-operative has to be a Norwegian street address or a place name.
The address has to be located in the municipality as stated in the articles of association. If the business address is changed to a different municipality, the statutes will have to be changed, as well. This type of change has to be approved by the annual meeting.
When changing to a new municipality, you need to attach
- an updated set of statutes
- minutes from the general meeting
New postal address
You are not obliged to report a separate postal address. If you wish the mail sent to another address, you can report this as a postal address.
When the enterprise elects a new board, the Brønnøysund Register Centre must be notified via the form Coordinated register notification in Altinn. List the entire board as it appear after the election, including any deputy board members.
The board is elected by the annual meeting.
You have to attach
- the minutes from the annual meeting, showing the composition of the new board
New board members and deputy board members must confirm taking on the assignment. They do this by signing the Coordinated register notification.
If the enterprise is going to deviate from the rule of registering at least three board members, you have to enclose the articles of association showing the decision.
When the enterprise changes signature rights, you must report this in the form Coordinated register notification in Altinn.
You must attach minutes from the board meeting or annual meeting showing the assignment of signature rights, unless the entire board has signed the form.
It must appear clearly that the signature right has been assigned, and whether it has been assigned jointly or separately.
All role holders can resign from their own role. When you resign, you waive all rights and obligations linked to that role. You can do this in the form Coordinated register notification in Altinn. Once we have registered the resignation, your role will be marked as inactive. Both you and the co-operative will be notified.
When the co-operative hires a general manager, you must report it in the form Coordinated register notification.
The general manager must confirm that they take on the assignment by signing the form.

- minutes from the board meeting showing the employment of the general manager, unless the entire board has signed the form.
