Be aware of possible attempts of fraud
If you have registered a new entity or changed the information in our registers, you might experience being called by various companies straight afterwards.
The persons calling might give the impression that they are calling on behalf of us and that they are offering various services you do not need. We can provide guidance for free.
- We will never contact you via telephone, sms or e-mail to ask for credit card information, a copy of your passport, driver’s licence or account number.
- If you are going to register something or change the information in our registers, you must be logged on through ID-porten with Bank-ID.
Unserious actors
The Brønnøysund Register Centre has received complaints about actors offering guidance on how to register information with us. One of these is Global Corporate Services (GCS Europe). There is no need to pay a private actor to do the registration or change of information with us.
