Enterprises sent to Bankruptcy Court in 2000-2003

The number of enterprises sent to Bankruptcy Court has increased
from 2002 to 2003. Last year a total of 2 060 companies
were sent to Bankruptcy Court. The main reason was, as in
earlier years, the failure to appoint an auditor or that the
enterprise did not have a complete board. A total of 914 limited
liability companies were sent to Bankruptcy Court because
they had been dissolved for more than one
year.
Of the companies sent to Bankruptcy Court, 1 051 have
settled the matters that led to the bankruptcy proceedings.
A total of 978 enterprises had already undergone forced liquidation
or are in winding-up proceedings.
