1. January 2001 the Brønnøysund Register Centre
became an administrative agency under the Ministry of Trade
and Industry. However, the Brønnøysund Register
Centre is also under commission by other ministries. These
include; the Ministry of Justice and the Police, the Ministry
of Finance, the Ministry of Children and Family Affairs, the
Ministry of Labour and Government Administration and the Ministry
of the Environment.
